Excuses Excuses!!

My Dad always said, "Excuses are like Noses, Everyone Has One!!" 

That has stuck with me forever and I've always tried to not have and Excuse for something that I'm not doing, don't want to do....or whatever the reason. It's plan Complaining to me and it's just not fun listening to someone who complains.  I am I right?!?!?



For the last year I have been working hard on myself getting in shape, reading books on self development and really just trying to be Positive. I turned 30 this year and it's been rather eye opening. Just looking back at everything that has happen in my life so far and how it's made me the person I am today. Weather you life has been a roller coaster ride or fun and fancy free we are all put here for a reason.

I am still looking for my reason, but one thing that has always stayed with me my whole life is helping others.  I have always had a passion for helping others. It might be you have an ear to bend or me helping you through a tough desitions, but I've always been there when someone needed me.  I remember dreaming of being an Art Therapist when I was in high school....but Math & English always held me back.  School was a drag and trying to learn was even harder. So I had this horrible stigma that I could not do it.  So that dream feel through the cracks. I wish I would have been stronger to tell myself I CAN DO IT! Because really if you put your Mind to it You CAN DO ANYTHING!!! It is all in YOUR HEAD!

So now back to the Excuses....Do you always have an excuse why you can't do something? An Excuse for why you didn't follow through?  How about why you were late?  Whatever the Excuse is you are blaming it on the wrong thing....It is YOU!  Funny thing is you are ONLY HURTING YOU! The truth always hurts, yes I know. I used to make up all kinds of Excuses as to why I was Unhappy, Fat, Lazy, Angry at Everyone....you name it I had it.  Do let that be YOU ANY MORE! Bite the Bullet and CHANGE ALL your Negatives to POSITIVES!! You will be amazed at what happens!

What are you going to change about you today?  How are you going to STOP making Excuses?  Write down what you want to change so you won't have excuses.  What is it going to take to make these changes happen?  Think about it!!

We are about to start a NEW YEAR are you ready to BE HAPPY?  You deserve to be happy and don't let anyone ever tell you other wise.  You hold the key to being happy, no one else is going to do it for you.

The next time you hear yourself about to Blurt out an Excuse you should hold your tongue and think before you speak. That is my challenge to you! Can you do it?  YES YOU CAN!!!

A little about me and how I started!

Last December I was so misserable and unhappy I could not stand it! After watching My Coach for months I had it! I was sick and tired of being sick & tired. So January 1st I started.  The 1st week I was amazed I could see my body change. I was on Fire!!! Ever day I got stronger I just kept telling myself I can do this and I will not let you over come me! I wanted the weight of BAD!!! Nearing the end of 90 Days I had already lost 25 pounds!!! I was so excited and I thought it would NEVER happen!  But it sure did. 

I have been going a little up and down with my last 10 pounds I really want off. When I get to help you it keeps me accountable.  I don't ever want to find myself bored because I might find myself sitting down and eating and eating. I don't want that to EVER be me again.

My Passion for Art

I have always had a Deep Passion for painting, pottery, drawing, and photography.

Below is an oil painting of a Nicaraguan Child who's picture I had take while on a Missionary trip.

Oils are my favorite media to use because they are so forgiving and the wide range of colors you can create are amazing.

Here is another oil painting of a Nicaraguan mother and child in their hut.

I of course I had to use my next favorite media which is Watercolors.  Here I painted a picture of children playing on a sailboat as their caregiver/father watched them at low tide.

My Waves painting now hangs above my son's bed.

 

                    This was a Mistake that turned into something Beautiful....

                                                                               

                                                           ....Which reminds me of my favorite painter Claude Monet.

Shortly after the Waves I painted with Acrylics.  Here I went crazy over Ocean Life!

My Last painting I did was painted two almost three years ago....

Which by the way...
                                     should have never happen!
 

             But when you have three children back to back

                        where in the world is the time to Paint?!?!?!

I'm awaiting All my Art supplies so I can jump back in

 I had to send everything to my parents house because our house has horrible storage space.

am I going to put everything so SIX HANDS don't get into EVERYTHING??? 

My hopes are to Create Beautiful Master Pieces with My Children's Help!!
